For Authors

All manuscripts should be prepared in accordance with the form and style as outlined in the American Psychological Association Publication Manual (7th ed.). Manuscripts should be double-spaced, including references, notes, abstracts, quotations, and tables. The title page should be followed by an abstract of 150 to 300 words. Tables and references should follow APA style and be double-spaced.Manuscript must be typed in Times New Roman font size 12-point, with 1" margins all round.Normally, manuscripts should not exceed 30 pages (double-spaced), including tables, figures, and references. Manuscripts should not be simultaneously submitted to another journal, nor should they have been published elsewhere in considerably similar form or with considerably similar content. The full text file must not contain author information.

Author information file should be uploaded separately as "Cover page file for editor". This document should include, for each author, name, institutional affiliation, mailing address, telephone number, e-mail address, a brief biographical statement, disclosure (conflict of interest) statement, and funding details (if relevant).

Conflicts of Interest

A potential conflict of interest may arise from financial relationships, personal relationships or competition, academic competition, or differences in ideologies or beliefs. They can be personal, commercial, political, academic or financial. Authors are requested to disclose interests that are directly or indirectly related to the work submitted for publication.  As an author,  you will have to submit a statement ensuring that:

1. Any financial support you receive (fund, donation, sponsorship) is approved.

2. A commercial or financial relationship with potential for a conflict of interest is described in the cover letter.

3. You have not signed an agreement with your sponsor that will make the results of your research biased in any way.

4. There is no conflict of interest between the authors of the article.

If you think there is any potential conflict of interest, please describe it in the cover file.

For example;

Disclosure statement: The authors whose names are listed below declared the following details of affiliation or involvement in an organization or entity with a financial or non-financial interest in the subject matter or materials discussed in this manuscript.

If there is no disclosure of any conflict of interest, we will publish the following statement: "No potential conflict of interest was declared by the authors".

Authors are responsible for correctness of the statements provided in the manuscript. The Managing Editor reserves the right to reject submissions that do not meet the guidelines described in this section.

Funding details

Authors must provide all details required by their funding and grant-awarding agencies as follows:
For single agency grants
This study was supported by the [Funding Agency] under Grant [number ...].
For multiple agency grants
This study was supported by the [Funding Agency #1] under Grant [number ....]; [Funding Agency #2] under Grant [number ...]; and [Funding Agency #3] under Grant [number ....].

Credit Author Statement

EPASR mandates CRediT (Contributor Roles Taxonomy) to provide authors the opportunity to share an accurate and detailed description of their diverse contributions to the published work.

• The corresponding author is responsible for ensuring that the descriptions are accurate and agreed by all authors.
• The role(s) of all authors should be listed, using the relevant CRediT categories.
• Authors may have contributed in multiple roles.
• CRediT in no way changes the journal’s criteria to qualify for authorship.

CRediT Classification:

  • Conceptualization: Ideas; formulation or evolution of overarching research goals and aims.
  • Data Curation: Management activities to annotate (produce metadata), scrub data and maintain research data (including software code, where it is necessary for interpreting the data itself) for initial use and later reuse.
  • Formal Analysis: Application of statistical, mathematical, computational, or other formal techniques to analyze or synthesize study data.
  • Funding Acquisition: Acquisition of the financial support for the project leading to this publication.
  • Investigation: Conducting a research and investigation process, specifically performing the experiments, or data/evidence collection.
  • Methodology: Development or design of methodology; creation of models.
  • Project Administration: Management and coordination responsibility for the research activity planning and execution.
  • Resources: Provision of study materials, reagents, materials, patients, laboratory samples, animals, instrumentation, computing resources, or other analysis tools.
  • Software: Programming, software development; designing computer programs; implementation of the computer code and supporting algorithms; testing of existing code components.
  • Supervision: Oversight and leadership responsibility for the research activity planning and execution, including mentorship external to the core team.
  • Validation: Verification, whether as a part of the activity or separate, of the overall replication/reproducibility of results/experiments and other research outputs.
  • Visualization: Preparation, creation and/or presentation of the published work, specifically visualization/data presentation.
  • Writing – Original Draft Preparation: Creation and/or presentation of the published work, specifically writing the initial draft (including substantive translation).
  • Writing – Review & Editing: Preparation, creation and/or presentation of the published work by those from the original research group, specifically critical review, commentary or revision – including pre- or post-publication stages.

Sample CRediT author statement:

Author 1 : Conceptualization and Methodology. Author 2 : Writing- Original draft preparation. Author 3 : Visualization, Investigation. Author 4: Supervision. Author 5 : Validation. Author 6 : Writing- Reviewing and Editing.

Review Process

All submissions will be reviewed initially by the editors for appropriateness to EPASR. If the editor considers the manuscript to be appropriate, it will then be sent for anonymous review. Final decision will be made by the editors based on the reviewers’ recommendations. All process -submission, review, and revision- is carried out by e-Journal Management System. The submissions should be written using MS-WORD or compatible word processors. EPASR has a policy of screening for plagiarism. 

The accepted manuscripts undergo the processes of plagiarism detection, preparation of bibliography, cross-reference and reference check, layout and galley, language editing, assigning a DOI number and being put into early release. The manuscripts in early release are published in the volume and issue determined by the editorial board. Publishing Models

EPASR is published under the Print Subscription and Open Acess publishing models.There are no submission fees for this journal. In order to get the subscription information of the journal, please visit: https://inased.org/Journal-Subscription/. However, the following pecuniary obligations of the accepted manuscripts for the publication lie with the author(s).
 
Plagiarism Detection

In accordance with its publishing policies, EPASR obliges each study that has undergone the "Blind Review Process" to be detected for plagiarism to protect the integrity of the study. Therefore, the accepted manuscripts are detected for plagiarism by a company chosen by the editorial board. Incurring fees are paid by the author(s).

Layout and Galley

EPASR requires that the articles be printed or published online in a common type of and complete page layout for formal integrity, readability and standards. Therefore, the studies whose plagiarism detection and bibliography preparation is finished, are sent to a company chosen by the editorial board for layout and galley. Incurring costs for page layout and preparation of the copy for print and open access lie with the author(s).

Language Editing

In accordance with its publishing policies, all manuscripts should be submitted with good English and clear phrasing for the benefit of editors and reviewers. Manuscripts accepted after peer review undergo English language editing for minor issues. Incurring fees are paid by the author(s).

Requesting a Fee Waiver

Corresponding authors without access to institutional funding options with primary affiliations based in countries defined by the World Bank as Low-Income Economies, can apply for a 100% fee waiver.
